These terms cover buying and using Stop That. By installing or using the app, you agree to them. If you do not agree, do not use the app, and contact us for a refund within the guarantee window.
Who we are
Stop That is provided by [Operator] (“we”, “us”). You can reach us at hello@stopthat.app.
Your license
When you buy Stop That, we grant you a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, perpetual license to install and use the app on a Mac you own or control. One license covers one device. The license lasts for the life of the product and is not a subscription.
You agree not to:
- Resell, sublicense, rent, or redistribute the app or your license key.
- Reverse engineer, decompile, or attempt to extract the source code, except where that restriction is prohibited by law.
- Remove or alter any proprietary notices.
What the app does, and what it will not do
Stop That watches your active app and, where permitted, the active browser tab, and responds with a cursor bubble, optional voice prompts, and Teleport to Work, which activates a productive app you choose. You decide which apps and sites count as “bad” and where Teleport sends you.
By design, the app keeps you in control. It does not:
- Disable your keyboard or block app switching at the operating-system level.
- Move or hijack your pointer, or cover the screen with a window you cannot close.
- Trap the menu bar. Quit and the panic hotkey are always reachable.
You are responsible for the targets and settings you configure and for using the app in a way that suits your own work and environment.
Price and payment
Stop That is a one-time purchase of $9 (the launch price, which may rise later) for a lifetime license on one Mac. Prices are shown before checkout and may change for new purchases. Payment is processed by our third-party payment processor (Stripe or Polar); your purchase is also subject to their terms. You are responsible for any taxes that apply to you.
Refunds
We offer a 14-day money-back guarantee. If you are not happy with Stop That, email hello@stopthat.app within 14 days of your purchase and we will refund you in full, no questions asked.
Updates
We may release updates that fix issues, improve the app, or add features, and we intend to provide them to existing license holders at no extra cost. We do not promise any specific future feature or an indefinite update schedule.

Stop That is a tool to help you change a habit; it is not a guarantee of any outcome and is not professional, medical, or mental-health advice. The app is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind to the fullest extent permitted by law, including any implied warranties of merchantability or fitness for a particular purpose.
Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, we will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the app. Our total liability for any claim relating to the app is limited to the amount you paid for it.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms as the app evolves. When we do, we will change the “Last updated” date above. Continuing to use the app after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of [Jurisdiction], without regard to its conflict-of-law rules.
